We host all 8,425 Mains questions from 2021–2025, and the most common mistake we see is aspirants reading PYQs like a newspaper — once, passively. Try this instead:
Pass 1 — Map (before you start a subject): read all 5 years of questions for that GS paper. Don't answer anything. Just tag each question with its topic. You now know what UPSC actually asks — which is narrower than what coaching syllabi cover.
Pass 2 — Skeleton (while studying): for each topic, pick 2–3 PYQs and write only the structure — intro line, 4–5 body points, conclusion direction. 5 minutes per question. This builds the exam brain without burning writing time.
Pass 3 — Full write (8+ weeks before Mains): full answers, timed, 7 min for 10-markers, 11 for 15-markers. This is where evaluation (peer, AI, or mentor) matters most — writing without feedback just reinforces your existing habits.
