Why the answer is (c)

• Initial balance for A, B, C, and D is ₹100 each.

• A pays ₹20 to B: A becomes ₹80, B becomes ₹110.

• B pays ₹10 to C: B becomes ₹100, C becomes ₹110.

• C receives ₹30 from D: C becomes ₹140, D becomes ₹70.

• Final balances are A: ₹80, B: ₹100, C: ₹140, D: ₹70.

• Statement (c) claims C (₹140) has more than A and D together (₹80 + ₹70 = ₹150), which is false because 140 is less than 150.

Why the other options are wrong

(a) C is the richest.: C has ₹140, which is the highest amount among all four individuals.
(b) D is the poorest.: D has ₹70, which is the lowest amount among all four individuals.
(d) B is richer than D.: B has ₹100, which is greater than D's ₹70.
