Why the answer is (d)

• 'To uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India' is Article 51A(c), one of the eleven Fundamental Duties added by the 42nd Amendment (1976) — option (d).

• The Preamble (a) speaks of 'unity and integrity of the Nation' as an aspiration, not as a duty; the DPSPs (b) and Fundamental Rights (c) contain no such clause.

• Hence option (d).
