Why the answer is (c)

• Banaras Brocades and Sarees received GI status in 2009 (1), and Tirupati Laddu, the prasadam of the Tirumala temple, in 2009 (3).

• Rajasthani Daal-Bati-Churma (2) is a traditional dish but has no GI registration.

• Hence 1 and 3 only, option (c).

Why the other options are wrong

(a) 1 only
Tirupati Laddu also has GI status.
(b) 2 and 3 only
Daal-Bati-Churma has no GI; Banaras sarees do.
(d) 1, 2 and 3
Daal-Bati-Churma has no GI status.
