Why the answer is (b)
• S1 says twice Sohan's weight is less than Mohan's weight and less than Rohan's weight.
• So Sohan weighs less than half of Mohan and less than half of Rohan, and is lighter than both of them.
• Hence Sohan's weight is the least, option (b).
Why the other options are wrong
- (a) Weight of Mohan is least
- Mohan weighs more than twice Sohan's weight, so he cannot be the lightest.
- (c) Weight of Rohan is least
- Rohan weighs more than twice Sohan's weight, so he cannot be the lightest.
- (d) 'Whose weight is least' cannot be determined
- S1 alone fixes Sohan as the lightest, so the least weight can be determined.
