Why the answer is (d)

• Aliyar (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu), Isapur (Yavatmal, Maharashtra, on the Penganga) and Kangsabati (Bankura/Purulia, West Bengal) are all dams with reservoirs — option (d).

• Aliyar is part of the Parambikulam–Aliyar project; Isapur is Maharashtra's large earthen dam; Kangsabati was built under the Second Five Year Plan for irrigation in Bengal.

• They are not uranium sites (a), rainforests (b) or cave systems (c).

• Hence option (d).
